Exterior Space Construction

This construction project has transformed the backyard into a sophisticated, multi-level living space, merging an elegant elevated terrace with a spacious lower patio. The design focuses on functionality, aesthetics, and the creation of a harmonious environment for outdoor relaxation and entertainment.

Elevated Terrace (Deck):

The upper wooden terrace (or low-maintenance composite material) provides a natural extension of the house, offering an elevated space with modern black and white railings for safety and style.
This area is ideal for enjoying elevated views and ensures a fluid transition from the interior of the home.

Main Patio and Masonry:

Directly beneath and extending from the terrace is a spacious ground-level patio, paved with stamped concrete that mimics the texture of natural stone in warm tones.
Borders and details in darker paver stones define the different zones of the patio and add an elegant visual contrast.
A robust, low seating wall was constructed, clad in flagstone with a light-colored capstone. This element not only delimits the space but also provides additional seating and an organic texture.
An integrated Fire Pit, clad in the same stone, is strategically positioned on the patio, ideal for outdoor cooking.

Connections and Flow:

Stone Stairs: Elegant stairs clad in light-colored stone fluidly connect the house to the main patio, serving as a clean and principal access point.
Furniture and Shade: Large, offset (cantilever) umbrellas provide generous shade over the dining and lounge areas, which feature high-quality outdoor furniture with cream cushions and vibrant blue accents.

Setting and Additional Elements:

Privacy is maintained with a light wooden fence that also serves as support for hanging planters with brightly colored flowers.
The landscaping is minimalist but effective, with well-maintained lawn and strategic vegetation that complements the hard structures without overwhelming the design.

The result is a versatile and luxurious exterior space that combines the height and views of a terrace with the breadth and amenities of a patio, creating multiple zones for relaxation, dining, and enjoyment.
